Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications

Crescent Professional Development Centre is proud to be a Cambridge Professional Development Centre, offering internationally recognized Cambridge PDQs (Professional Development Qualifications). We provide three specialized qualifications: the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL), the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching with Digital Technologies (CICTDT), and the Cambridge International Certificate in Educational Leadership (CICEdL). These programmes are designed to empower educators by enhancing their teaching practices, integrating digital technologies, and developing leadership skills, ensuring they are equipped to thrive in modern educational environments. Through these courses, we aim to foster continuous growth and excellence in education, empowering educators to make a lasting impact.

Cambridge Certificate/Diploma in Teaching English Language to Adults (CELTA/Delta)

We are excited to announce our partnership with International House Turkey, bringing the prestigious CELTA Level 5 (FHEQ) and Delta Level 7 (FHEQ) courses to both our teachers and external candidates.

CELTA and Delta accredited by Cambridge, are few of the most respected English language teaching certifications worldwide, known for the rigorous training and practical focus. By offering these internationally recognized qualifications, we are equipping educators with the skills, expertise, and confidence to thrive in a global teaching environment.

International Certificate of Learning and Teaching (ICoLT)

ICoLT is an enriching and transformative professional development opportunity designed for educators seeking to enhance their teaching practices in alignment with international standards. This 18-day course, co-designed by the learning and development team of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School and esteemed educators from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UK), is tailored to meet the unique needs of teachers in our context. It provides a structured yet dynamic learning experience aimed at equipping educators with innovative strategies, global best practices, and reflective teaching methodologies.

Futuristic Leaders and Strategic Headship (FLASH)

FLASH is mandatory for all middle-level and newly joined leaders, designed to cultivate forward-thinking leaders who are equipped to navigate and lead in the evolving educational landscape. These sessions focus on developing strategic vision, fostering innovation, and enhancing leadership capabilities that drive long-term success. Key attributes of FLASH include encouraging a proactive mindset, strengthening strategic decision-making, promoting effective team leadership, and preparing leaders to embrace and implement change with confidence.

Preparing for Reflective Practice (PRP)

The Preparing for Reflective Practice is an in-house training course, mandatory for all teachers at Crescent Model School, designed to introduce them to the essential concept of reflection in teaching. This workshop provides teachers with the tools and frameworks to critically assess their teaching methods, identify areas for improvement, and foster a mindset of continuous growth. By engaging in reflective practice, teachers learn to evaluate their lessons, recognize their strengths, and address challenges, ultimately enhancing their teaching effectiveness.

Collaborations

Crescent Model Higher Secondary School believes in empowering educators through worldclass professional development. For this, the School regularly collaborates with leading institutions like the University of Strathclyde Sotland, UK, International House Turkey, Cambridge International, UK to offer PGCert, MSc, ICoLT, CELTA, Delta, and Cambridge PDQs, enhancing both teaching and leadership skills to name a few. Additionally, our partnership with Aga Khan University in the Holistic Science Learning Program enables us to develop master trainers, ensuring impactful and innovative education. Collaborating with LUMS and Oxford Teachers Academy provides another opportunity for educators to develop management and leadership skills.
